Kalah-style mancala on a two-row board with a store on each end. Pick a pit on your side, sow stones counterclockwise one per pit, and capture when your last stone lands in an empty pit on your side opposite opponent stones.
Landing in your store earns an extra turn — chain those when possible.
How to play Mancala
- On your turn, pick any non-empty pit on your side.
- Drop one stone into each following pit, including your store but skipping the opponent’s store.
- If your last stone lands in your store, play again.
- If your last stone lands in an empty pit on your side, capture that stone plus stones in the opposite pit.
- Win with more stones in your store when one side’s pits are empty.
Strategy tips
- Extra turns from the store swing games — count sowing distance before you pick up.
- Empty pits on your side can set up captures; do not leave large opposite pits vulnerable.
- Stones in your store are safe — prioritize moves that add there without giving captures.
- Late game, empty your pits efficiently so the opponent’s leftover stones count for you.
- Against the CPU, watch for forced capture setups on your empty near-side pits.
