Rush Lanes

A sliding-block traffic puzzle: cars sit on lanes and move only forward or backward along their orientation. Get the red car out the exit on the right side of the grid.

Trucks span two cells; cars span one. Nothing turns — only slides.

How to play Rush Lanes

  • Click a vehicle to select it, then use the arrow buttons to slide it forward or back along its lane.
  • Vehicles move only along their row or column orientation.
  • The red car must reach the exit opening on the right.
  • Win when the red car exits. New puzzle reshuffles the lot.

Strategy tips

  • Free the red car’s row first — even one blocking car stops the win.
  • Long trucks block two cells; account for their tail when sliding.
  • Move vehicles that block the exit lane before fussing with unrelated lanes.
  • Sometimes you must push a truck away from the exit, not toward it, to open a gap.
  • Work backward from the exit: what must be clear for the red car to drive straight out?

Common questions

Can cars turn corners?

No. Each vehicle slides only along its lane orientation.
