Daily Klondike

Daily Klondike is standard draw-one Klondike with a fixed shuffle seeded by the calendar date. Every player sees the same deal on the same day — useful for comparing lines with a friend or retrying your own best run.

Tomorrow at midnight (local device date) the seed changes and a fresh board appears.

How to play Daily Klondike

  • Same rules as Klondike Solitaire: alternating-color tableau builds, ace-to-king foundations, draw-one stock.
  • The deal is determined by today’s date — reloading the page does not change the layout until the date changes.
  • Undo works within a session so you can explore different stock passes on the same daily deal.

Strategy tips

  • Treat the daily deal like a puzzle with one authoritative layout — note where your first loss happened and retry later the same day.
  • Compare strategy, not just win/loss: two players can clear the same daily deal with different foundation timing.
  • If you want a random shuffle anytime, use regular Klondike Solitaire instead of the daily mode.
  • Screenshot or remember your move count if you are racing a friend on the identical deal.
  • Daily boards reward patience on the stock cycle — the fixed deal means your second attempt is pure improvement.

Common questions

When does the daily puzzle reset?

When your device’s calendar date changes. The seed is derived from the year, month, and day — not a global timezone clock.

Is the daily deal the same as normal Klondike?

Same rules and engine. Only the shuffle is fixed per day instead of random on each new game.
